Steps to perfection

STEP 1. Preliminary review

Preliminary review

A preliminary review will be carried out based on the 3D and 2D drawings provided by clients. We will review whether there are conflict points between the mould design and the product design. For example, whether there are undercut exits. If so, we will discuss how to solve them.

Mould flow analysis

We will make mould flow analysis before moulding the design for some of the products, like thickness wall, high-temperature materials PEEK, PEI, and POM, or the products with complex constructions. Mould flow analysis can imitate the behavior of the materials in the mould. We will identify potential injection risks in advance, from shrinkage, melt temperature, suitable injection gates, warpage to cycle time, process setting, and time-to-fill. We will provide a detailed report of the mould flow analysis.

STEP 2. Mould design

Our mould design is as simple and durable as possible, except for products with complex constructions. First, we will provide a preliminary moulding design (DFM) based on 3D/2D product drawings and clients’ requirements. From the DFM, clients can collect important information, such as mould layout, part line, injection gate location, hot or cool runner, etc. After clients confirm the preliminary design, we will start making the final DFM and the 3D of mould, and then launch the mould making.

STEP 3. Mould manufacture

We guarantee a minimum amount of shots for all moulds we produce. Our moulds normally can produce 0,5 to 1 million shots, and some can produce even more.

We have local experts in Europe who are responsible for on-site inspection. We also have workshops to take care of any maintenance the moulds need.

STEP 4. Trial mould

Through a trial mould, we ensure we will get the best injection parameters, from mould temperature and nozzle temperatures to filling speed and decompression. This is to meet the exact requirement of clients.

Materials will be filled in from 25%, 50%, 75%, 98% until the weight of the product does not increase anymore to get the sample models of various phases. Then, based on the sample models, we will analyze any possible problems that can arise and adjust for those.

After clients approve the sample models, we will provide the corresponding injection parameters and the detailed product size measurement report.

STEP 5. After sales service

We guarantee a minimal amount of shots for all moulds we produce. Our moulds normally are able to produce 0,5  to 1 million shots, some are even more.

We have local experts in Europe who are responsible for on-site inspection. Besides we collaborate with local toolmakers to offer good after sales. This is definitely what adds value for our customers.
